Missouri men's basketball continues its quest for an SEC title, squaring off against top-seeded and No. 4 Alabama in the SEC Tournament Semifinals. Tipoff is set for Saturday at noon on ESPN.

ABOUT THE TIGERS
• Mizzou owns a 24-8 record during the 2022-23 campaign.
• The Tigers placed fourth in the final SEC standings with an 11-7 conference record.
• Mizzou advanced to its first SEC Semifinals after a 79-71 win over No. 17 Tennessee Friday. D'Moi Hodge (26) and Kobe Brown (24) combined for 50 points in the winning effort.
• Brown leads the Tigers with 16.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game this season.
• Hodge (14.6) and DeAndre Gholston (10.5) also score in double figures for the Tigers.

• The Tigers also finished with an 11-7 SEC record – tied for their best ever since also winning 11 games in their inaugural SEC campaign (2012-13).
• It hasn't come easy for MU as its six ranked wins are tied for the second-most in its history.
• MU finished the non-conference campaign 12-1 – its best mark since also going 12-1 in 2013-14.
• Finally, the Tigers' 16 wins at Mizzou Arena are tied for the ninth-most home wins this season and MU's most since also going 16-3 in 2013-14.

SEC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
• Mizzou is competing in its ninth SEC Tournament since joining the league in 2012-13, posting a 7-8 record all-time in the tournament.
• MU earned the No. 4 seed for the championship – its highest seed in school history.
• The Tigers advanced to the semifinals for the first time in school history, having lost their previous three quarterfinal matchups.
• MU is aiming to advance to its first league title game since winning the 2012 Big 12 Championship.

ABOUT THE CRIMSON TIDE
• Alabama won the SEC regular-season title with a 16-2 mark, advancing to the semifinals with a 72-49 win over Mississippi State.
• Overall, the Crimson Tide are ranked No. 4 in the AP poll with a 27-5 record.
• SEC Player and Freshman of the Year, Brandon Miller, leads Alabama with 19.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
• Mark Sears is second on the Tide with 12.9 points.
• Jahvon Quinerly leads Alabama with 3.7 assists.

SERIES HISTORY

• The Crimson Tide earned a victory at Mizzou Arena earlier in the year, 85-64. However, Kobe Brown missed the game with an ankle injury.

• Additionally, MU has won its last three games versus ranked foes (last loss was to No. 4 Alabama on Jan. 21). It matches the team's longest streak since 2011-12, while the Tigers last won four-straight over ranked schools in 1997-98.

• Kobe Brown has led Mizzou during the 2022-23 season, saving his best for the nation's best.
• In the Tigers' six wins over ranked foes, Brown has eclipsed 20 points in five of the games.
• Overall, the forward is tallying 23.8 points in the six contests – shooting 61.3 percent from the field and 51.9 percent from 3-point range – with 7.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
• Brown is the first Tiger with five games of 20-plus points versus ranked teams since Rickey Paulding did so five times in 2003-04.
