Gymnastics Preps For 2024 Season With Black And Gold Exhibition

The University of Missouri gymnastics team kicked off their first meet of the season on Sunday, Dec 10, with the annual Black & Gold exhibition.

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The University of Missouri gymnastics team kicked off their first meet of the season on Sunday, Dec. 10, with the annual Black & Gold exhibition. The event gives the fans a first look at what is to come for the 2024 season.

Bars

  • The Tigers return on bars with a high score of 9.925 by Schreiber. In second place on the event was again the freshman Horton with a 9.875, followed by graduate transfer Mara Titarsolej who scored 9.850. 

Beam

  • The beam queens are back in action, as Schreiber scored 9.95 on her routine, and junior, Grace Anne Davis earned 9.875 this meet with an amazing performance. The Tiger's newest transfer, Titarsolej, received a 9.85 on her performance.

Floor

  • Amari Celestine crushed the floor with her routine, scoring a 9.925. Right behind were Horton and Schreiber, who both scored 9.875.
