
Tigers Earn NCAA Regional Bid

MU clinches No. 7 seed in Norman Regional
COLUMBIA, MO – The University of Missouri men's golf team clinched a bid for the NCAA Normal Regional as announced by the NCAA Selection Show on the Golf Channel Wednesday afternoon. This marks the Tigers' 15th NCAA Regional appearance in program history and sixth in the last decade under head coach Mark Leroux.
The Tigers secured the No. 7 slot in the Norman, Okla. Regional and will compete against 12 other teams at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club from May 16-18 with the hopes of placing in the top-5 to advance to the NCAA Championship in Scottsdale, Ariz. from May 27 - June 1.
Mizzou's last appearance in the NCAA Regionals was in 2018 where they finished eighth overall and their last run at the NCAA Championship was in 2014.
This season, the Tigers have racked up four team victories – two in the fall and two in spring. Most recently, they placed fifth during the stroke play portion of the SEC Championship marking the best placement in program history at the event. They fell short to LSU in the next round at the match-play portion.
