Tigers Continue Strong Play on Day Two of SEC Run

Jack Parker fired a bogey-free, 3-under 67
ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The University of Missouri men's golf team continued to make strong strides on the second day of competition at the SEC Championship, rounding out the day in 7th place after firing a team round score of 4-under 276. The Tigers were led by Jack Parker who fired a bogey-free, 3-under 67 to move into the top-15 as he tied for 13th place at 2-under overall.
Following suit, both Tommy Boone and Charlie Crockett signed off on under-par rounds. Boone posted a 2-under 68 anchored while tallying six birdies to share a piece of 16th place, while Crockett bounced back from his day one score to record a solid 1-under 69.
Jack Lundin finished the day with a 2-over 72 to stand at T-29 with a 1-over overall while YuTa Tsai put up a back-nine surge to also finish with a 2-over 72.
The Tigers wrap up the final day of stroke play tomorrow morning with tee times starting at 7 a.m. CT. The top eight teams will make the cut to move onto the match play portion this weekend.
