Hanson, Schwartz Lead Tigers at Weis-Crockett Invitational

The Missouri women finished 11th while the men took 16th in the regular season finale

STILLWATER, Okla. Senior Marquette Hanson and junior Jenna Schwartz paced University of Missouri Cross Country as the Tigers wrapped up the 2022 regular season at the Weis-Crockett Invitational in Stillwater, Okla. on Saturday morning.

The Tiger women finished 11th in the 6k with a point total of 329 while the Mizzou men took 16th in the 8k notching 407 points.

TOP TIGERS

Hanson crossed the line 20th with a time of 24:00.3. The Warrensburg, Mo. native has led Missouri in every race he has entered this fall.

Senior Jacob Ridderhoff posted a time of 24:46.9 to claim 70th while the freshman duo of Drew Rogers (25:05.4) and Tyler Freiner (25:19.3) rounded out the program's top four men's finishers on the day.

Schwartz led the Tiger women to the finish for the first time this season. The junior took 53rd with a time of 21:50.8.

Sophomore Isabelle Christiansen continued her strong sophomore campaign as the Oswego, Ill. native, mirrored her teammate's time (21:50.8) to finish 54th.

Senior Reilly Revord (22:11.2), freshman Kaia Downs (22:12.8) and sophomore Allison Newman (22:14.0) rounded out the Tigers' top five.
