COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri men's golf team is set to head east for the 2022 Rod Myers Invitational, Sept. 9-10 at the Duke University Golf Club in Durham, North Carolina. The two-day, 54-hole event will feature 36 holes in continuous rounds on Friday and a final 18 starting Saturday morning.

THE COMPETITION
The field for the 2022 Rod Myers Invitational features 14 teams, including: Mizzou, Alabama, Charlotte, Duke, East Carolina, Florida Gulf Coast, Liberty, Loyola (Md.), North Florida, Penn State, Princeton, UNC-Greensboro, UNC-Wilmington and Virginia Tech.

INSIDE THE LINEUP
Jack Lundin: Lundin has collected a victory to begin the fall schedule with his win at the Turning Stone Intercollegiate last weekend. He sealed the individual title after carding a career-best 13-under par total of 203, marking his first individual medalist honor of the season. He tallied 13 birdies while firing the tournament low round of 7-under par 65, in the first round.
Charlie Crockett: In his first event during the fall schedule, Crockett tallied all three rounds under-par anchored by 14 birdies for a career-best third place individual finish shooting (70-70-70) 210 total.
DJ Springer: In his first event as a Tiger last weekend, Springer shot rounds of (74-71-73) for a 2-over 218 total at Turning Stone. He carded seven birdies on the weekend and finished tied for 12th.
Alfons Bondesson: In the first tournament of the fall schedule Bondesson posted (72-70-77) 219 for a solid t-16 finish.
Tommy Boone: Boone posted a solid 1-under 71 in the first round at Turning Stone and followed with rounds of 77-79 for a total of 227 which tied for 31st.
Dawson Meek (Individual): Meek tied for 24th at Turning Stone, where he also competed as an individual. He closed with a pair of 73s after shooting 77 on the opening 18 for a 54-hole total of 223.
LAST TIME OUT
Led by Junior Jack Lundin, the Tigers clinched both the team and individual titles at the Tiger Turning Stone Intercollegiate on Monday afternoon. Mizzou dominated the field from the start, posting an event-low, 10-under par 278 the first round and finished with an overall total 17-under par 847 (278-279-290). Mizzou defended its title from last year with the 11-stroke victory over runner-up, Stetson.
