Tigers Place 50 Student-Athletes on Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. - The Southeastern Conference announced its 2021-22 Winter Academic Honor Roll, with 50 student-athletes from the University of Missouri being recognized. The 50 student-athletes marks the second-straight year for Mizzou Athletics with 50 or more winter sport athletes honored.

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. - The Southeastern Conference announced its 2021-22 Winter Academic Honor Roll, with 50 student-athletes from the University of Missouri being recognized. The 50 student-athletes marks the second-straight year for Mizzou Athletics with 50 or more winter sport athletes honored. 

The 2021-22 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll includes the sports of basketball, equestrian, gymnastics and swimming & diving. It is based on grades from the 2021 Spring, Summer and Fall terms. A total of 800 student-athletes from the SEC's 14 institutions are recognized on this year's list. The complete 2021-22 SEC Honor roll can be found here. Any student-athlete who participates in an SEC championship sport is eligible for nomination. Criteria for selection includes a 3.00 cumulative grade point average or a 3.0 for the preceding academic year. Athletes must have completed 24 semester hours of academic credit towards a degree at the nominating institution. 

All five eligible programs sponsored by Mizzou received recognition, with women's swim & dive leading the way with 19 athletes followed by men's swim & dive with 15. Gymnastics had 10 athletes, marking the most for the team since 2018.
