Tigers Return for Co-Hosted Event in Arizona

The University of Missouri women's golf team returns this week to compete in their co-hosted road event, the MountainView Collegiate with Kansas-State down in Tucson, Arizona. The tournament features a total of 16 teams, five of which are ranked in the top-25. Due to COVID-19 circumstances, the last time the Tigers played in this event was 2019.

TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Missouri women's golf team returns this week to compete in their co-hosted road event, the MountainView Collegiate with Kansas-State down in Tucson, Arizona. The tournament features a total of 16 teams, five of which are ranked in the top-25. Due to COVID-19 circumstances, the last time the Tigers played in this event was 2019.

COMPETITIVE SLATE: 15. Arkansas, 6. Florida, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas-State, Missouri, North Texas, Oklahoma, 5. Oklahoma State, 8. San Jose State, Southern Miss, 19. Texas A&M, TCU, Texas Tech, Tulsa, UNLV

WHERE: MountainView Golf Club (Par-72, 6,210 yards) 

WHEN: The three-day event will begin on Friday, March 18 and conclude on Sunday, March 20 with each day featuring 18-holes. Mizzou will be paired with Oklahoma State and Iowa State on the first day with their initial tee time start at 10:00 a.m. CT, with the rest following in 9-minute increments after.

NOELLE BEIJER – Sr.

Beijer headlines the Black and Gold after pacing the team at the most recent event, the FSU Match-Up. There she fired a 3-under 69 on day two, tying for the second-lowest round of the day and went on to claim her second top-20 finish of the season.

SOPHIA YOEMANS – Jr.

Started the spring by carding her first career event under-par score with a 1-under 215 and continues her consistency to lead the team in season scoring average with a 73.5.

EMILY STAPLES – So.

Staples showcased her strong short game at the FSU Invitational where she penciled in an eagle after her first two shots of the day. Her spring momentum started at the FAU Invitational where she fired her career-best 54-hole event score to claim her first top-25 finish.

BRIANNE BOLDEN – Jr.

Most recently, Bolden finished third on the team at the latest event, the FSU Match-Up. She kicked off the spring with a career record-breaking event at the FAU Paradise Invitational carding personal bests across the board.

KEAGAN DUNN – Sr.

Dunn rounds out the Tiger lineup in the midst of her senior campaign which thus far has been highlighted by her third-place finish at the home fall event, the Johnie Imes Invitational. This marks her fifth event competing this year.

HALLIE KUHNS – Fr.

Making her spring debut competing as an individual, Kuhns returns to the lineup after a notable true-freshman fall. She saw the lineup three times, one of which she finished second on the time with her 1-under-par event score.
