Track & Field Takes on Tyson Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. —  Mizzou Track & Field will once again travel to Fayetteville, Ark., as it attends the Tyson Invitational for a two-day contest beginning Friday, February 11. Competition at Randal Tyson Track Complex will begin at 2:15 p.m. CT Friday afternoon and conclude the following evening. The invitational will be streamed on SEC+ Network both Friday and Saturday at 4 p.m, and 1 p.m. respectively. Live results will be available at FlashResults.

The Tyson Invitational will begin Friday with the women's long jump at 2:15 p.m. and concludes with the women's 4x400 relay Saturday at 3:45 p.m.

Arianna Fisher (San Jose, Calif.) and Georgi Nachev (Yambol, Bulgaria) will return to Randal Tyson Track Complex after both athletes took home the triple jump title in the Razorback Invitational January 29. Fisher broke her own personal best and program top-10 record with a jump of 13.52m (44-4 ½) – first in indoor school history. Nachev also broke his personal record and set a second-best in indoor school history with a leap of 16.28m (53-5). 

Isabelle Christiansen (Oswego, Ill.) will run the women's mile where, last meet, she ran a 4:51.59, setting a new indoor personal-best by approximately 10 seconds.
