Rousseau Leads Mizzou Diving with Platform Win at Tennessee Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Senior Sarah Rousseau highlighted the University of Missouri's performances at the Tennessee Diving Invitational with an event win on platform. Her zone-qualifying score of 272.25 is her second highest platform score of the season.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Senior Sarah Rousseau highlighted the University of Missouri's performances at the Tennessee Diving Invitational with an event win on platform. Her zone-qualifying score of 272.25 is her second highest platform score of the season.

Rousseau also qualified for the finals in both springboard events, with a fifth place finish on 1-meter and seventh place finish on 3-meter. Sophomore Kayla Wilson qualified for finals in both 1-meter and 3-meter, with tenth place finishes in both events.

On the men's side, junior Carlo Lopez led the way with a fourth place finish on platform, sixth place finish on 3-meter, and eighth place finish on 1-meter.

Both the men and women also competed in team events, with the men finishing in third (328.95) and the women in fifth (262.55). The team events consisted of two 1-meter dives, two 3-meter dives and two platform dives, split up amongst each team's divers.

UP NEXT

The No. 9/18 swimming and diving teams are back at the Mizzou Aquatic Center on Jan. 8 for a dual meet against Louisville at 11 a.m. CT. The Tigers will honor their 17 seniors before the meet.
