COLUMBIA Mo. - Mizzou volleyball (4-22, 1-12 SEC) prepares to trek to Athens, Ga., to take on Georgia (8-15, 4-8 SEC) on Saturday, Nov. 13 and Sunday, Nov. 14 for a two-match series. First serve on Saturday is set for 1 p.m. while Sunday is an 11 a.m.
Saturday's match against the Bulldogs will stream on SEC Network+. Sunday's match will air on ESPNU.
SERIES SNAPSHOT
- Mizzou leads Georgia 10-5 in the all-time series.
- The two sides met last spring with Mizzou taking a pair of 3-0 decisions.
- Mizzou has experienced success in Athens, taking four of the six matches on the road.
LAST TIME OUT
- Mizzou dropped a pair to Mississippi State last weekend. The Tigers battled it out in both matches, taking the first match to a fifth set and taking it to a fourth set on Sunday.
- Junior Anna Dixon paced the Tigers in Sunday's match against Mississippi State, producing 14 kills.
- Freshman Kaylee Cox produced her fifth double-double on the season last weekend against Mississippi State. On Saturday, Cox made 10 digs and 11 kills. In the Sunday match, Cox had 11 kills and 14 digs.
- In both matches, graduate student Nicole Alford led the Tigers in assists. Alford was able to produce over 20 assists in both matches.
