No. 3 Missouri Set To Host Northern Colorado Sunday afternoon

COLUMBIA, Mo. — No. 3 Mizzou Wrestling will begin its home slate Sunday afternoon inside Hearnes Center against Big-12 opponent Northern Colorado. The dual is set to begin at 1 p.m. CT.

The Tigers return to Columbia after a tromping of North Dakota State on Thursday, beating the Bison 37-3. The win included six-bonus point victories.

Head coach Brian Smith will start the same lineup against the Bears Sunday, featuring eight of Mizzou's 10 returning NCAA qualifiers and nine ranked wrestlers. Cracking into the top-25 for the first time in his career, freshman Josh Edmond debuted at No. 25 at 149 pounds, according to InterMat.

Edmond is joined in the starting lineup by three more second-year freshmen, Trey Crawford (133 pounds), Rocky Elam (197 pounds), and Keegan O'Toole (165 pounds). Rounding out the starters are redshirt freshman Noah Surtin (125 pounds), juniors Allan Hart (149 pounds) and Jarrett Jacques (157 pounds), and redshirt sophomores Peyton Mocco (174 pounds), Jeremiah Kent (184 pounds), and Rocky Elam (285 pounds).
