Cisneros Named to 2021 SEC Soccer Community Service Team

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Southeastern Conference released the 2021 SEC Soccer Community Service Team on Wednesday. Mizzou senior forward Julissa Cisneros was nominated for the Tigers.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Southeastern Conference released the 2021 SEC Soccer Community Service Team on Wednesday. Mizzou senior forward Julissa Cisneros was nominated for the Tigers.

Cisneros has continued to serve the greater Columbia community even during the season. She has served at local Battle Elementary School by doing the morning announcements and spending time with the children. Additionally, she served at a number of City of Columbia events, including the Heritage Festival and Kaleidospoke.

Over her four years as a Tiger, Cisneros has volunteered her time with numerous organizations including 2nd & 7 and Starlight Reading that are catered towards encouraging young children to read. Cisneros also spent time with the Special Olympics.

Cisneros leads Mizzou with six assists on the season and recently moved into the program's Top 10 points list. She claimed a spot in the Top 10 of the Mizzou goals list during the 2020-21 season. 

The Tigers will close the 2021 season on Thursday at 6 p.m. CT at Audrey J. Walton Soccer Stadium against Texas A&M.
