COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Mizzou Wrestling squad faced off in its annual Black and Gold scrimmage Tuesday evening at Hearnes Center. 15 matches were held, including a freestyle match to end the night.

Several freshmen donned the black and gold singlets for the first time in front of a crowd, including Korbin Shepherd, Logan Gioffre, Jesse Cassatt and Darren Ketcham. Of the new Tigers, Shepherd and Gioffre each tallied a victory in one of their two matches.

The intersquad acted as a tune-up for the majority of Mizzou's returning NCAA qualifiers as well, highlighted by freshman Keegan O'Toole who tallied the only fall of the night.

Ahead of his trip to Belgrade, Serbia, for the U23 World Championships, junior Brock Mauller faced off in a freestyle bout against freshman Jeremy Jakowitsch.
