Mizzou Falls in Three to Ole Miss

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou volleyball (4-17, 1-7 SEC) fell 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 to Ole Miss (15-5, 4-5 SEC) on Saturday in a back-and-forth battle.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou volleyball (4-17, 1-7 SEC) fell 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 to Ole Miss (15-5, 4-5 SEC) on Saturday in a back-and-forth battle. 

Freshman Kaylee Cox paced the Tigers with 14 kills. While Freshman Jordan Iliff had nine kills. 

For Ole Miss, 12 kills came from Anna Bair, and 11 came from Aubrey Sultemeier and Lauren Thompson.

Kaylee Cox: 14 kills, 15 digs, 3 blocks,

Trista Strasser: 3 kills, 6 blocks

Addison Lyon: 18 assists, 7 digs.

  • Freshman Kaylee Cox earned her third double-double, picking up 14 kills and 15 digs.
  • On the attack for the Tigers freshman, Jordan Iliff picked up nine kills, while junior Anna Dixon had seven kills.
  •   On Defense for the Tigers freshman, Addison Lyon had a team-high of 18 digs, while Cox picked up another 15.
  • At the net freshman, Trista Strasser led the Tigers with six blocks. Both Cox and graduate student Brynn Carlson had three blocks for the Tigers.
