
Mizzou Tennis Opens Spring Season with Doubleheader at Oklahoma State

Mizzou and Cowboys will play at noon and 5 pm in Stillwater
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Tennis will open the spring portion of its 2020-21 schedule on Saturday, Jan. 16, as the Tigers travel to face Oklahoma State for a doubleheader in Stillwater, Okla. The matches are scheduled to begin at noon and 5 p.m. CT at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
Mizzou is coming off a highly successful fall season, including a singles championship at the ITA Central Regional from junior Bronte Murgett (Holmfirth, Great Britain). The title was the first ITA regional championship in program history and completed a 6-0 performance at the tournament for the junior Tiger.
Murgett enters the spring season with an 11-2 record overall, including an 8-1 mark in singles competition, while senior Ellie Wright (Gainesville, Fla.) enters with an 8-4 record, including a 3-1 mark in doubles play.
