COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball's 2021 recruiting class continues to turn heads, earning a No. 25 ranking in the country, per Baseball America. It's the first time the Tigers have secured a top 25 recruiting class per Baseball America since 2014.

Mizzou Baseball head coach Steve Bieser, assistant coach/recruiting coordinator Fred Corral and assistant coach Jason Hagerty continue to compile an impressive list of future true freshmen and transfers. Two future Tigers were ranked in Baseball America's high school class of 2021 top 100 rankings.
"I'm very excited to see what this 2021 class can accomplish once they get on campus," said Bieser. "This is a very talented and athletic group that has played a lot of baseball over the last several years. This particular group not only passes the eye test, but they fit exactly what we're looking for in ballplayers."
Despite a shortened 2020 season, Mizzou carries plenty of momentum heading into its 2021 campaign. Mizzou ended last year with seven consecutive victories, highlighted by taking two of three at the premier Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic in Houston, Texas. The Tigers closed their trip at Minute Maid Park with back to back wins over No. 22 Oklahoma and Texas.
Coach Bieser's 104 wins over his first three years at the helm in mid-Missouri (2017-19) were the most-ever by any Mizzou Baseball coach in his first three campaigns. Additionally, his 104 victories marked the winningest three-year stretch by the Tigers since 2008-10.
