COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Wrestling had three wrestlers compete at the USA Wrestling Senior Nationals this past weekend in Coralville, Iowa.
True freshman Rocky Elam (86 kg) took fifth place in his weight class. He won his first two matches 10-0, before dropping a tough match to Noah Jackson, who would go on to take second place. Rocky Elam went on to win three of his next four matches, finishing the weekend with a 5-2 record.
Jarrett Jacques (74 kg) won his first two matches on 10-0 and 12-1 decisions, before losing to the eventual champion Logan Massa. Jacques picked up another victory after that, finishing with a 3-2 record.
Zach Elam (125 kg) came off to a strong start, winning his first match 10-0. He finished the weekend 2-4.
