Former Mizzou Volleyball libero Riley Sents received the 2019-20 Female Brad Davis Southeastern Conference Community Service Award, announced Thursday by the league office.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Former Mizzou Volleyball libero Riley Sents received the 2019-20 Female Brad Davis Southeastern Conference Community Service Award, announced Thursday by the league office.

The SEC announced a male and female Brad Davis Community Service Award winner for each of its 14-member institutions. Each winner will each receive a $5,000 post-graduate scholarship provided by the SEC. The overall SEC Male and Female Leaders of the Year will be announced next week.

The SEC Community Service Post-Graduate Scholarship is named for former Associate Commissioner Brad Davis. Davis was succumbed to cancer on March 2, 2006. He had been a member of the SEC staff since 1988, first serving as an assistant commissioner until 1994 when he was promoted to associate commissioner.

On the court, Sents concluded one of the top libero tenures in Mizzou history last season. Her 1,310 career digs rank sixth all-time. The Grundy Center, Iowa, native posted 400-plus digs in 2017 and 2018, highlighted by 461 digs in her redshirt sophomore campaign. That total ranks tied for ninth all-time in Tigers single-season history.
