Tigers surpass 3.50 Spring GPA for fifth straight year
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball continued its exceptional success in the classroom with a cumulative 3.57 grade point average over the recent Spring 2019 semester at the University of Missouri. The total matches the highest-ever Spring GPA recorded for the Tigers.
"It was another outstanding semester in the classroom for us," Mizzou Volleyball head coach Wayne Kreklow said. "We're very proud of our student-athletes and their commitment to both academics and athletics!"

The Tigers have exceeded a 3.50 team GPA in five consecutive Spring semesters at the University of Missouri. Additionally, under Wayne and Susan Kreklow (2000-present), Mizzou has surpassed a 3.0 collective GPA in 15 of its past 16 Spring semesters.
Over the recent Spring 2019 semester, five Tigers produced a perfect 4.0 GPA, four student-athletes posted a GPA between 3.50-3.99 and one individual finished with a GPA between 3.00-3.49.
Mizzou Volleyball has regularly enjoyed high academic success rates in the classroom over the years. Beginning with the 2014-15 academic school year at the University of Missouri, the Tigers posted four consecutive 1,000 Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores. A team's APR score accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation and provides a measure of a respective program's academic performance.
In February, five members of the 2018 Mizzou roster received Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll accolades. The Tigers have produced at least five SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll recipients each year since joining the SEC in 2012.
Historically, Mizzou has surpassed a 3.0 team GPA in 25 of its past 29 combined Fall and Spring semesters at the University of Missouri.
