
Mauller Fourth at USA Wrestling UWW Junior Freestyle World Trials

Tiger freshman’s finish highlighted trio at the world trials
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou rising sophomore Brock Mauller (Columbia, Mo.) took fourth place at the USA Wrestling United World Wrestling (UWW) Junior Freestyle World Team Trials last weekend at Reynolds Coliseum on the campus of NC State. Mauller advanced to the 70 kg semifinals after a quarterfinal, 5-4 win over Jared Franek before dropping a technical fall decision to Peyton Robb to earn fourth place.
Also wrestling over the weekend at the UWW Trials were rising sophomore Jarrett Jacques and RS junior Jaydin Eierman. Jacques lost his first-round matchup in the junior trials at 74 kg. He was eliminated via a 4-2 decision by D.J. Shannon. Eierman wrestled in the senior UWW Trials and dropped his first-round bout as well.
