COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 21 Mizzou Baseball (26-12-1, 7-7-1 SEC) hits the road Thursday-Saturday for an SEC Eastern Division series at No. 6 Georgia. Thursday's series opener at Foley Field is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT first pitch. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
Friday evening's matchup between the Tigers and Bulldogs kicks off at 6 p.m. CT. Saturday's series finale will begin at 11 a.m. CT. The final two contests this weekend in Athens, Georgia, will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN.
Fans can also tune-in to KTGR (105.1 FM, 100.5 FM and 1580 AM) this upcoming SEC series and all season long, as Tex Little and Matt Michaels will be on the radio airwaves.

Series History vs. Georgia
- Mizzou and Georgia's all-time series is tied, 9-9.
- The Tigers and Bulldogs will meet for the seventh consecutive year, as the two teams last squared off a season ago in Columbia, Missouri (May 3-5, 2018). Georgia produced a three-game series sweep at Taylor Stadium.
- Mizzou's last visit to Foley Field occurred two years ago (April 6-8, 2017). The Tigers dropped their opener to the Bulldogs, but rallied with back to back wins to claim the series.
Mizzou Handles Missouri State, Remains Perfect in Tuesday Contests
- Mizzou opened this week's four-game road trip Tuesday (April 16) evening at Hammons Field with a convincing 14-6 victory over Missouri State. With last season's two-game series sweep, the Tigers have won three consecutive ballgames over the Bears.
- Mizzou continued its dominant play in midweek matchups this season, improving to 8-0 in Tuesday contests. The Tigers were clicking on all cylinders against Missouri State, posting double-digit runs for the 16th time this season and recording 10-plus strikeouts on the mound for the 26th time.
- In midweek matchups this season (Tuesday-Thursday), Mizzou now possesses an outstanding 12-1 mark. As aforementioned, the Tigers are 8-0 on Tuesday, 4-0 in Wednesday contests and 0-1 in their lone Thursday matchup.
- Mizzou advanced its excellent non-conference record this season to 19-5 following Tuesday's triumph.
- After falling behind 1-0 after two innings of play, Mizzou's eventual victory marked its 14th come-from-behind win this season.
- The long ball typically equals positive results for the Tigers, as they launched three home runs against Missouri State pitching. Mizzou is now 19-5 this season when leaving the ballpark.
- Freshman RHP Tommy Springer (seven), freshman LHP Trae Robertson (four) and sophomore RHP Trey Dillard (three) each matched or reset their career-highs in strikeouts against Missouri State's offense. It led to a whopping 14 total strikeouts by Mizzou pitching Tuesday, tied for second most in a game this season.
- Sophomore OF Clayton Peterson, freshman INF Cameron Swanger and senior OF Connor Brumfield's home runs gave Mizzou three on the night. It was the team's most long balls in a single-game this season since also producing three vs. Murray State (March 20).
