Hear From Head Coach Steve Bieser
On tonight's victory over the Bears…
"It was really good to see us respond. Early in the game we left the bases loaded and left a couple runners out there. We stayed the course. We kept working and getting runners on and were able to produce some runs throughout the entire game."
On the team's timely hitting against Missouri State pitching…
"I thought we did a really good job. We had a lot of baserunners tonight and also had some big hits. It got things rolling there pretty well."
On Springer's solid start on the mound…
"It's similar to what we've seen out of Tommy all season. He made some really good pitches. I thought he did a good job of keeping this game right where it needed to stay. Then we were able to turn it over to the bullpen."
On Robertson and Dillard shining in relief…
"Trae got in a groove there. He looked really good. He started a little shaky, but once he got into that groove he looked really good. Then Trey had a really good night. His stuff is so good whenever he's attacking the strike zone. He's really difficult to hit."
