Hear From Head Coach Steve Bieser
On Saturday's contest at Taylor Stadium…
"It was tough conditions. With the high winds we knew it could be a high offensive day. We were able to swing the bats really well early in the game. We kept the pressure on Northwestern early. I liked the way we attacked offensively today."
On the Tigers' offensive approach…
"Our goal is always to win each inning. We gave up a couple in the second and third inning, but were able to comeback offensively and win it. I thought that put the pressure on them (Northwestern). We battled as a team and picked each other up. That's one of the reasons why we picked up a victory today."
