Hear From Head Coach Steve Bieser
On Misner ending a mini slump at the plate with a big day Wednesday…
"Good hitters hit. I wasn't overly concerned. I just wanted him to simplify things and start swinging the bat. He was being too picky on his choice of what to swing at. He got in there today and let it fly. Things happen when he swings the bat."
On (Trae) Robertson's solid performance in relief…
"It was good to keep him sharp. I also wanted him to get more experience. Trae is our only lefty in the bullpen and we had to get him some outings like that today. He could potentially come out of the bullpen on the weekend. To get him a chance and see him attack a lefty, a pretty good hitter, he came in and did a good job in that situation."
