COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Softball (13-11, 2-4) took down No. 8 Georgia (25-6, 1-2), 8-7, at Mizzou Softball Stadium on Sunday, courtesy of an electric walk-off off the bat of freshman 1B Emma Raabe. The Tigers claimed the series 2-1 over the Bulldogs, their first SEC series win since they toppled No. 8 Auburn at home a season ago.
Junior P Eli Daniel was dealing from the moment she entered the circle in relief of senior P Madi Norman, notching her second victory this season courtesy of her six strikeouts over 3.1 innings of work. It was Daniel's second time this season with at least six strikeouts.

- Sophomore C Hatti Moore had her best game of the season, going 3-3 with three runs scored, an RBI and a walk.
- Moore also bombed her second home run of the season, breaking the tie in the bottom of the third inning, putting the Tigers up 5-4.

TURNING POINT
After Mizzou held a four-run lead early on, it looked as if No. 8 Georgia was going to walk away with a win, as they held a 7-5 lead with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth. The Bulldogs' scoring dropped off when Daniel came into the game in the final third of the inning, though, as Daniel smoked the Dawgs the rest of the way. The junior didn't give up a single hit and struck out six of the 11 batters she faced.
Raabe bombed a solo shot in the bottom of the fourth to cut the lead to just one, but Mizzou's bats would go quiet in the fifth and six innings. The Tigers would pounce in the bottom of the seventh, though. Â Freshman OF Danie Garrison scored the tying run on a bases-loaded walk form Mary Wilson Avant, bringing Raabe to the plate. With the bases still loaded, the freshman lined a ball to short that was mishandled, scoring Moore to secure the walk-off series clinching win. Â
QUOTEABLES
"Going up to bat, coach is just smiling at me because she knows I want to be in that situation," Raabe said. "It was a 3-1 count, so I knew she was going to give me a strike. All I had to do was take advantage. And I just tried to hit it hard."
