COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball (9-5) concludes its five-game homestand Tuesday and Wednesday at Taylor Stadium against Arkansas State. Tuesday's series opener between the Tigers and Red Wolves will now open at 2 p.m. CT, followed by a 4 p.m. CT first pitch Wednesday early evening.
Both matchups will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. Ben Wilson and former Mizzou Baseball head coach Tim Jamieson will be on the call. Fans can also tune-in to KTGR (105.1 FM, 100.5 FM, 1580 AM) Tuesday-Wednesday and all season long, as Tex Little and Matt Michaels return to the radio airwaves.

Series History vs. Arkansas State
- Mizzou leads the all-time series over Arkansas State, 20-8.
- The two teams also met for a two-game midweek series last year at Taylor Stadium (March 20-21, 2018). The Tigers tallied wins in each contest, outscoring the Red Wolves, 25-10.
- Prior to this week's and last season's meetings, Mizzou and Arkansas State saw a five-year hiatus from each other, last meeting in the 2013 campaign.
Mizzou Tallies Home Sweep vs. Northwestern
- Mizzou claimed its second series win of the 2019 campaign following a three-game series sweep over Northwestern in Mid-Missouri (March 8-10).
- Following a pitching duel in game one, the Tiger offense exploded for 25 runs on 24 hits in game two and game three victories.
- Overall in the series, Mizzou hit .316 collectively with eight doubles and six home runs. Freshman UTIL Luke Mann paced the team with two doubles, while senior 1B Tony Ortiz exploded for three home runs, including a multi-home run effort in game two Saturday afternoon.
- Joining Ortiz with the long ball was junior 3B Austin James, junior SS Chris Cornelius and junior OF Kameron Misner.
- With wind gusts exceeding 40 mph Saturday at Taylor Stadium, both Mizzou's and Northwestern's offense took advantage with 27 total runs scored. The Tigers' 16 runs scored and 17 hits were both season-highs.
- Additionally, Mizzou's four home runs Saturday were a season-high and the first four-plus home run effort since a year ago at Kentucky (April 28, 2018).
- Sunday's 9-4 victory improved the Tigers' home record this season to 4-0. It was also Mizzou's first three-game series sweep over an opponent since March 9-10, 2018, versus La Salle.
