Storylines
- On Saturday, Mizzou is looking for its third consecutive victory over Texas A&M for the first time since 2013-14. The Tigers downed the Aggies, 66-43, in College Station on Jan. 19. It was Mizzou's largest margin of victory in the series with Texas A&M since Jan. 16, 2002 (74-50) and Mizzou's fifth win in College Station in program history.
- Mizzou held the Aggies to 43 points in that Jan. 19 victory, marking just the fifth time since 2010 that Texas A&M managed 43 points or less in a game. Mizzou also held the Aggies to 25 percent shooting, their lowest field goal percentage in a game since Feb. 1, 2014.
- Mizzou is looking to get wins over the Aggies in both College Station and Columbia in the same season for just the second time in program history, with the lone occasion coming in 2011-12.
- Since Nov. 18, senior point guard Jordan Geist is averaging 14.9 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting 39.6 percent from 3-point range and boasting a 1.57 assist-to-turnover ratio. He has reached double figures 15 times in the last 18 games. He has scored 15+ points in a game eight times this season after notching 15+ just six times in his previous two seasons combined.
- After outrebounding No. 1 Tennessee on the road 36-34, Mizzou has outrebounded its opponent 15 times in 21 games this season. Mizzou is limiting opponents to 34.0 rebounds per game during league play, which ranks fourth in the SEC behind Kentucky, Tennessee and LSU.
- Mizzou has held opponents under 70 points 32 times in the Martin era, which amounts to 59.3 percent of the games with him at the helm. When the Tigers have done so this season, they are 11-0.
- Mizzou ranks second in the SEC in 3-point field goal percentage, shooting 37.1 from beyond the arc. From 2012-17, Mizzou shot 32.4 percent from 3-point range. In the Martin era, Mizzou is shooting 37.9 percent from deep. The Tigers have made at least eight triples 15 times in 21 games this season.

- Mizzou continues to be a stout defensive team under Coach Martin. The Tigers rank fourth in the SEC in scoring defense, limiting opponents to 68.2 points per game. When Mizzou holds teams under 70 points, it is 11-0. Freshmen and Sophomores Shining
- In its win over Vanderbilt, Mizzou's trio of freshmen - Xavier Pinson, Torrence Watson and Javon Pickett - combined to score 33 points, their highest output in a game this season. The trio followed with 25 of Mizzou's 60 points at No. 1 Tennessee.
- In last Saturday's victory over the Commodores, Mizzou's freshmen and sophomores accounted for 57 of Mizzou's 77 total points.
- 64 percent of Mizzou's scoring this season has come from players who are freshmen or sophomores, and that doesn't include transfer Dru Smith, who averaged 13.7 points per game as a sophomore at Evansville. 69.3 percent of Mizzou's scoring has come from players slated to return in 2019-20.
- Pickett has started all 21 games during his rookie season. In addition to being Mizzou's defensive stopper, Pickett has reached double figures eight times this season. Mizzou is 4-4 in those games. Since Jan. 13, Pickett is averaging 10.3 points per game while shooting 40 percent from the field.
- Watson reached double figures in back-to-back games for the first time during league play after scoring 10 points at Auburn and 12 points vs. Vanderbilt (behind a career-high five FGs).
- Pinson has earned his first three career starts in the Tigers' last three games. He's chipped in at least eight points in five consecutive games, including 10 points and a career-high eight rebounds in a career-best 32 minutes at No. 1 Tennessee.
