COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball (5-4) hits the road again this weekend for a pair of matchups in Conway, Arkansas. First, the Tigers will be hosted by Central Arkansas Friday evening at Bear Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT. Mizzou closes its quick two-game trip Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. CT in a contest against South Dakota State.
Fans can tune-in to KTGR (105.1 FM, 100.5 FM, 1580 AM) Friday-Saturday and all season long, as Tex Little and Matt Michaels return to the radio airwaves.

Series History vs. Central Arkansas
- The all-time series between Mizzou and Central Arkansas is tied, 2-2.
- The two teams last met seven years ago (March 27-28, 2012) for a two-game series in Columbia, Missouri. The Tigers took the series opener, 12-7, but fell 8-2 in the series finale.
- Friday evening will mark the programs' first-ever contest in Conway, Arkansas.
Series History vs. South Dakota State
- Mizzou leads the all-time series over South Dakota State, 3-0.
- The two teams last met from March 18-19, 2008, for a two-game series at Taylor Stadium.
- The programs' first-ever meeting took place in the 1982 campaign under head coach Gene McArtor.
Mizzou Victorious in 2019 Home Opener
- Mizzou opened its 2019 home schedule in style Tuesday (Feb. 26) evening at Taylor Stadium, posting a comfortable 13-5 victory over Alabama A&M.
- The Tigers saw production up and down the lineup, as eight individuals tallied a hit and seven individuals posted an RBI. Mizzou certainly took advantage of a shaky Alabama A&M pitching staff, as it drew 12 walks at the plate.
- Four errors by the visiting Bulldogs also proved to be beneficial for the Tigers, highlighted by a three-run fourth inning, four-run fifth inning and six-run seventh inning.
- The Tigers improved to 4-0 all-time against Alabama A&M with their win.
- Mizzou's 13 runs marked a new season-high, surpassing the previous top mark of 12 set on Feb. 23 vs. Rhode Island.
- At the plate, senior OF Connor Brumfield's 4 RBI marked a new single-game career-high.
Tiger Running Game Flourishing Early On in 2019
- Head Coach Steve Bieser has team speed up and down the lineup this season and he's certainly not afraid of utilizing it. Through nine games played, Mizzou paces the Southeastern Conference with 24 stolen bases (2.67 per game).
- The Tigers have stolen multiples bases in six games, while producing four-plus stolen bases four times. Individually, junior OF/1B Kameron Misner leads the SEC with seven swipes. Not far behind is sophomore C Chad McDaniel, who's five SB ranks T-3rd in the league.
- Senior OF Connor Brumfield (3), junior SS Chris Cornelius (2), sophomore OF Clayton Peterson (2), sophomore OF Alex Peterson (2) and junior INF Austin James (2) have also chipped in with multiple stolen bases apiece.
- Entering play this week (Feb. 26), the Tigers' 20 team SB ranked ninth in the NCAA and the team only added onto it with four more swipes Tuesday against Alabama A&M.
