Hear From Head Coach Steve Bieser
On tonight's ballgame against Central Arkansas…
"It's exactly what we need this time of year. We came out and got better today. We were able to put together enough hits and get some timely hits to produce four runs. I think we're continuing to make strides in the right direction. We just have to come out tomorrow and make sure we don't have a hiccup."
On McDaniel's RBI single in the first inning…
"It was big for our psyche. They got our third and fourth place hitters out and if they get Chad out then they'll have a lot of momentum coming their way. It would've been tough to bounce back from that."
On grading Sikkema's performance on the mound…
"He's a competitor. I thought his fastball was good. I've seen his breaking stuff better, but that guy competes with whatever has working any given night."
