Hear From Head Coach Steve Bieser
On Tuesday's victory over the Rattlers…
"Nothing has been easy so far this year. Today definitely was not easy for us. We struggled again offensively. We had a couple innings where we walked the bases loaded and got ourselves in trouble. We were able to pitch out of it once, but put our backs against the wall in the ninth inning."
On finally producing a crooked number on the scoreboard offensively…
"We had a two-out RBI that was clutch in the first and a couple more in the ninth. It was the difference in the game."
On Tuesday's impressive pitching performances…
"Tommy (Springer) got things started off. I thought he threw the ball outstanding. Trae (Robertson) threw a couple innings and threw the ball well. Seth (Halvorsen) threw the ball well one inning, but lost it in his second inning. Cameron (Dulle) did an outstanding job for his second straight appearance."
On Dulle stepping up his performance in 2019…
"He has always had the arm talent. Him getting strength and consistency was what he needed over the last couple years. I think he has grown into his own and understands what it takes to be consistent."
