COLUMBIA, Mo.  – Mizzou Women's Basketball Southeastern Conference opening matchup at Tennessee on Thursday, Jan. 2, will now tip off at 4 p.m. CT in Knoxville, Tenn.

The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. CT, but was changed to avoid a conflict with the Tennessee football team's TaxSlayer Bowl contest at the same time. The Lady Vol-Tiger matchup on Jan. 2 will be included in the SEC Network's "whiparound" coverage of all SEC contests on that day, and will be shown in its entirety on SEC Network +.
