Mizzou Volleyball Fights Back in Thrilling 3-2 Win at Alabama

Tigers erase 2-1 match deficit, survive intense fifth and final set
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Mizzou Volleyball (15-6, 7-4 SEC) tallied a big road Southeastern Conference comeback win Friday, defeating Alabama, 3-2 (25-22, 20-25, 23-25, 25-22, 18-16), inside Foster Auditorium.
The Tigers trailed 2-1 in the match, but responded with their second five-set win this season. Mizzou finished with 73 kills against the Crimson Tide, marking the program's most kills in a single match in nine years. The Tigers' last 70-plus kill performance occurred on Dec. 3, 2010, versus Northern Iowa in NCAA Tournament play.
Juniors Kylie Deberg and Leketor Member-Meneh each recorded 21 kills Friday evening, marking their ninth and second 20-plus kill matches this year, respectively. Redshirt sophomore Andrea Fuentes was fantastic at setter, producing a career-high 62 assists.
