
Mizzou Volleyball Bounces Back, Posts 3-1 Win Sunday at Tennessee

Tigers improve to 6-2 on the road in SEC play
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Mizzou Volleyball (19-7, 11-5 SEC) got back to its winning ways Sunday afternoon with a 3-1 (18-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-23) triumph at Tennessee. The Tigers earned their 10th win this season away from Mid-Missouri, including their sixth on the road in Southeastern Conference action.

"After a rough first set, I was really pleased with how our group fought back the rest of the match. Our defensive efforts really stepped up in sets two-four and that gave Tennessee's offense some fits. As the match went on, our attackers stepped up in big situations. Timely kills and timely defense was big today."
