A QUICK RECAP
After halting Tennessee on the game's opening drive, Mizzou proceeded to march down the field and convert a 30-yard field goal from senior K Tucker McCann to take a 3-0 lead. RS sophomore WR Barrett Banister provided two key receptions on the drive, including a season-long 23 yard reception which set Mizzou up in Tennessee territory.
Early in the second quarter, Tennessee scored a touchdown to take a 7-3 lead, but Mizzou was able to respond with a touchdown of its own, as senior QB Kelly Bryant found sophomore RB Tyler Badie for a 7-yard TD to cap a 9-play, 75-yard drive for the Tigers. On the drive, Badie and sophomore WR Jalen Knox combined for 67 yards.
In the third quarter, Badie found the end zone once again, this time on a trick play. Junior WR Micah Wilson took a backwards pass from Bryant and found a wide open Badie in the end zone for a 15-yard TD. Badie's second touchdown of the night tied the game at 17-17.
A McCann field goal in the fourth quarter pulled Mizzou with four points at 24-20, but the Tigers were unable to take the lead on its final drive of the game.
TEAM NOTES

- Mizzou blocked another field goal in the third quarter, marking the first time Mizzou has blocked two kicks in a single game since 2015 (Sept. 19 vs. UConn).
