
Mizzou Tennis Continues with Competition at FIU Invitational

Nash and Goldin improve to 2-0 in doubles action at the invite
MIAMI, Fla. – Mizzou Tennis continued with the second day of competition at the FIU International on Saturday in Miami, Fla. Mizzou earned three wins on the day, two in doubles competition and one in singles play.
DOUBLES
In doubles action, the teams senior Serena Nash (Bradford, England) and senior Gabrielle Goldin (Bradenton, Fla.) and junior Marta Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal) and sophomore Vivien Abraham (Budapest, Hungary) each improved to 2-0 on the weekend with victories.
SINGLES
In singles competition, junior Marta Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal) claimed a three-set win over Florida International's Basak Akbas, 6-0, 4-6, 6-2.
UP NEXT
Mizzou continues with the final day of competition at the FIU Invitational on Sunday. Doubles action is slated to start at 8:00 a.m. CT, followed by singles competition at 8:45 a.m. CT.
