COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball (16-6, 8-4 SEC) returns to the friendly confines of the Hearnes Center this weekend, hosting Alabama and South Carolina for a pair of Southeastern Conference matchups.
The Tigers and Crimson Tide open the weekend Friday evening with first serve scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Mizzou then welcomes the Gamecocks to Mid-Missouri Sunday afternoon with action kicking off at 1 p.m.
Both matchups this weekend inside the Hearnes Center will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. Ben Arnet and former Mizzou Volleyball All-American Kira Larson will be on the call. Fans can also follow the action online via Twitter (@MizzouVB).

Series Snapshot vs. Alabama
- Mizzou leads the all-time series, 10-3.
- In the teams' last matchup (Nov. 8, 2019), Mizzou tallied a thrilling comeback five-set win over the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.
- The Tigers are currently riding a six-match winning streak in the all-time series, dating back to the teams' meeting four years ago (Oct. 28, 2015) in Mid-Missouri.
- In the programs' last meeting inside the Hearnes Center (Sept. 19, 2018), Mizzou posted a straight-set victory over Alabama.

- In the programs' last meeting (Nov. 2, 2018), the Gamecocks produced a five-set victory over Mizzou in Columbia, South Carolina.

Mizzou Leaps Four Spots in Latest NCAA RPI
- Mizzou enjoyed a pair of road SEC comeback wins this past weekend (Nov. 8-10) at Alabama and Georgia. Friday evening in Tuscaloosa, the Tigers trailed 2-1 and escaped with a five-set victory, while Sunday afternoon in Athens they reeled off three-straight sets after dropping the first.
- Behind its two impressive road conference triumphs, Mizzou jumped four spots to No. 19 overall in the latest NCAA Volleyball RPI rankings. The No. 19 rank is the Tigers' highest RPI placement in nearly a month, as they also checked-in at No. 19 on Oct. 14.
- Mizzou has consistently played against some of the nation's top programs this year, evident by its 14th nationally ranked strength of schedule. This season, the Tigers have six Top 15 RPI matchups, 10 Top 50 opponents and 13 Top 75 foes.
- Mizzou's top RPI wins this year to date include No. 10 Texas A&M (Oct. 6), No. 36 Michigan (Sept. 6), No. 37 Georgia (Nov. 10), No. 45 Northern Iowa (Sept. 13), No. 49 Dayton (Sept. 6), No. 59 Tennessee (Oct. 20) and No. 70 LSU (Oct. 2).
