COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Men's Golf alum Euan Walker was one of 10 players selected to the Great Britain and Ireland team that will face the U.S. in the 47th annual Walker Cup match at Royal Liverpool. The match will take place Sept. 7-8.
Walker won the African Amateur Stroke Play Championship at Leopard Creek before finishing runner-up in both The Amateur Championship and European Amateur Championship this summer. He recorded top five finishes in the European Nations Cup and the Brabazon Trophy.
The Great Britain and Ireland team roster was selected by captain Craig Watson. This will be Walker's first time participating in the prestigious event.
