@MizzouTennis Named ITA All-Academic Team, Six Tigers Claim Scholar-Athlete Honors

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou women's tennis team earned ITA All-Academic Team honors and six Tigers claimed Scholar-Athlete accolades, the ITA announced Thursday.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou women's tennis team earned ITA All-Academic Team honors and six Tigers claimed Scholar-Athlete accolades, the ITA announced Thursday.
 
Vivien Abraham, Lisa Fukutoku, Gabrielle Goldin, Mackenzy Middlebrooks, Marta Oliveira and Ellie Wright all earned ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition, which is given to student-athletes with a GPA of 3.50 or better while earning a varsity letter.

The 2018-19 season marked the fourth-straight year the Tigers earned All-Academic Team honors, which is awarded to any program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). All varsity letter winners are factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year (fall 2018 and spring 2019).
