COLUMBIA, Mo. - In a continuing effort to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes beyond the field of competition, the Southeastern Conference once again highlighted a Community Service Team for women's tennis for the 2018-19 season. Mizzou junior Mackenzy Middlebrooks (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) represented the Tigers on the Community Service Team for her contributions to the Columbia community.
Middlebrooks has participated in a number of community service projects over her time with the Tigers. In her three years in Columbia, Middlebrooks has volunteered at the Gridiron Grill-Off, Teen Serve and with the Special Olympics. Additionally, she has also helped with the MKT Trail cleanup, Columbia Recycling Program, Mizzou Moves and events at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran's Hospital.
Middlebrooks and her Tiger teammates conclude the regular season with matches at Auburn on Friday, April 12 and Alabama on Sunday, April 14. The Tigers then open play at the 2019 SEC Championship on Wednesday, April 17 at a time to be determined.
