TEAM RESULTS
The Mizzou women recorded a fifth-place finish with 149 total points, as the Tigers finished behind Arkansas (24 points), Florida (69 points), Ole Miss (116 points) and Georgia (144 points). With the team finishing third in 2016 and fourth in 2017, the Mizzou women have placed in the top-five at the conference meet for three consecutive years, the first time Mizzou has accomplished that feat since 2003, 2004 and 2005.
The Mizzou men also finished fifth with 135 total points, finishing behind Ole Miss (36 points), Arkansas (44 points), Kentucky (122 points) and Tennessee (132 points). The finish was an improvement on Mizzou's seventh place finish at the 2017 SEC Championships, and its highest finish since finishing fourth at the 2014 meet.

QUOTABLES
Mizzou Head Coach Marc Burns
"Our teams battled hard today all the way to the finish line," said Burns. "On the women's side Tori, Reilly and Mikayla got out strong and did a great job of finishing over the last lap. Melissa and Jordyn came up big on the last loop and passed big groups over the last 1K to help us secure fifth and almost catch Georgia."
"Kieran and Thomas were solid up front for us from the beginning and showed their strength and ability to finish by closing in 10th and 12th," said Burns. "We needed that up front and then our guys made massive moves over the last loop behind them to move us up from eighth or ninth all the way to fifth. It was fun to watch Martin, Evan and Justin get it done today. We are very proud of both teams and the way they competed today."
