Stewart Nabs Top-10 Finish at Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate

Mizzou places seventh at the tournament in Jonesborough, Tennessee
JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. – Mizzou Men's Golf concluded the final round of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate on Sunday, finishing seventh overall with a 12-under par 852 (281-284-287). The Tigers wrapped up the tournament with a total of 52 birdies and shot 1-under par in the third and final round.
Sophomore Jamie Stewart recorded his second top-10 finish of the season carding a team low score for the tournament at 10-under par (69-69-68 – 206). Stewart finished with a total of 15 birdies to place tied for sixth on the individual leaderboard. The 206 was the second-best 54-hole score of his career and Sunday's third-round 68 secured his season-best 18-hole performance. Stewart has now placed in the Top 20 individually at six consecutive regular season tournaments.
Fellow Scotland native Rory Franssen also had a solid tournament finishing tied for 18th at 4-under par (70-69-73—210). It marked Franssen's third top 20 finish and his lowest 54-hole total of the season.
Senior Matt Echelmeier finished in the third spot for the Tigers with a 1-under par 215 (69-75-71). Echelmeier concluded the day with a total of four birdies and an eagle to finish T32 overall.
Junior Ricky Sanders finished with a tournament total of 3-over par 219 (73-71-75) while sophomore Jack Parker finished at 231 (76-76-79).
