
@MizzouMensGolf Heads to Jonesborough for Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate

The tournament runs Friday-Sunday
JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. – Mizzou Men's Golf travels to Jonesborough, Tennessee, to compete in the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate (Oct. 12-14) at Blackthorn Club. The Tigers face off against 13 programs, including five teams ranked in Golfweek's Top-50, No. 50 Kent State, No. 44 Virginia, No. 12 Louisville, No. 15 Penn State, and No. 6 Tennessee. The rest of the field incldues Coastal Carolina, ETSU, East Carolina, Furman, UNC Wilmington, VCU, Villanova, and Virginia Tech.
Sophomore Jamie Stewart (Renfrewshire, Scotland) leads the Tigers in the lineup again after a Top-15 finish at The Jackrabbit Invitational. At last year's Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, Stewart had a strong performance for the Black & Gold, shooting 4-under (72-71-69 – 212) to finish in the Top 15.
Following Stewart in the lineup is senior Matt Echelmeier (Columbia, Mo.) who had a stellar final round at the Jackrabbit Invitational firing 3-under 69. This will be Echelmeier's fourth time traveling to the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate where he posted one of his best career 54-hole scores at 3-under-par (69-69-75 – 213).
Juniors Rory Franssen and Ricky Sanders and sophomore Jack Parker will round out the Tigers' lineup at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. Last season, Franssen secured a Top-25 finish, shooting 1-under-par (71-68-76 – 215).
