Jazmyn Rollin named Premier Girls Fastpitch All-American Game MVP

IRVINE, Calif. – Mizzou Softball recruit Jazmyn Rollin was named the MVP of the Premier Girls Fastpitch High School All-American game Friday night in Irvine, California, after guiding the West squad to a 4-2 victory over the East squad. Rollin put on an offensive display while starting at second for coach and two-time Olympian Jennie Finch.

Rollin put on an offensive display while starting at second for coach and two-time Olympian Jennie Finch.

"It was a really fun and enjoyable experience," Rollin said. "It was awesome to come out here and compete against the best of the best."

Rollin proved that her offense will carry over to the next level with a standout performance against the best high school players in the country. The Salt Lake City, Utah, native went two for three at the plate on the night, driving in two RBI while also adding a run scored.
