@MizzouSoftball Series Opener vs. No. 8 Auburn Suspended

Due to steady inclement weather in the Mid-Missouri area Friday evening, Mizzou Softball and No. 8 Auburn's series opener has been suspended. The two teams will conclude the game Saturday afternoon beginning at 1 p.m. CT.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Due to steady inclement weather in the Mid-Missouri area Friday evening, Mizzou Softball and No. 8 Auburn's series opener has been suspended. The two teams will conclude the game Saturday afternoon beginning at 1 p.m. CT.

Play will resume from where it stood prior to the inclement weather, as Auburn led 3-0 in the top of the fifth inning. Following the conclusion of the suspended game, Mizzou and Auburn will play the originally scheduled second game of this weekend's series.

Sunday's series finale is still scheduled for a noon CT first pitch. Fans can tune-in live the rest of the weekend via SEC Network + via WatchESPN.
