@MizzouSwimDive Heads to Texas For Pair of Duals

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou swimming and diving teams travel to Texas for a pair of duals this weekend. The Tigers open action at Noon on Friday, Jan. 5 against SMU at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium in Dallas, Texas. The squad then heads to College Station, Texas, to take on Southeastern Conference foe Texas A&M at Noon on Saturday, Jan. 6 at the Rec Cente Natatorium. Saturday's dual with the Aggies will be available live on SEC Network +.

As both the Tiger and Mustang divers are competing at this week's Tennessee Diving Invitational, diving scores from the invite will be used for Friday's dual. 

IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS - TEAM

Idle since late November, the Tigers enter this weekend ranked 10th (women) and 15th (men) in the latest CSCAA / TYR Top 25 Poll. The Texas A&M women are ranked No. 1 nationally in the poll, with the men clocking in at No. 9. 

LAST TIME OUT

Last time in the pool, both the men's and women's programs took home team titles at the Mizzou Invite, with the men amassing 1,411 points and the women 1,391.5 points. The Tiger men are 3-1 overall and 1-1 in SEC action so far this season, while the women are 1-3 and 0-3 in conference competition. 

IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS - INDIVIDUAL

A total of 17 Tigers are ranked in the top 25 in their respective events, including four who are in the top 10. Junior Mikel Schreuders ranks third nationally in the 200 free (1:33.24), senior Hannah Stevens is fourth in the 100 back (51.16), senior Sharli Brady is fifth in the 400 IM (4:04.37) and ninth in the 200 fly (1:54.56) and junior Annie Ochitwa is seventh in the 100 free (47.58).
