Tigers’ Walker becomes fourth CoSIDA Academic All-American in program history
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Men's Golf senior Euan Walker (Troon, Scotland) became the fourth Tiger in program history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-America® honors with his inclusion on the Men's At-Large Second Team, as announced by the organization on Thursday, June 8.
On the legs of his second consecutive Southeastern Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year recognition, Walker joined Bill Wynn (1989, Third Team), Jim Knoesel (1989, Third Team) and Peter Malnati (2009, Third Team) as Tigers to receive the prestigious honor.
Walker maintained an impressive 4.0 grade point average in the mathematics major while finishing his career as one of Mizzou's most reliable golfers. He paced the Tigers' group in four different events as a senior, including an individual runner-up finish at the Jackrabbit Invitatiional (Sept. 25-27, 2016).
