- Head coach Kim Anderson won his 300th career game as Mizzou defeated Vanderbilt, 72-52 (Feb. 11). The Tigers were sparked by a second consecutive 23-point game from junior forward Jordan Barnett.Â
- The second-ever #RallyForRhyan Game, an 83-78 win vs. Arkansas (Feb. 4) was a success on and off the court, with more than $54,000 raised for pediatric cancer research.
- The entire 2016-17 Mizzou roster is made up of first- or second-year players. Not a single member of the Black & Gold has been with the squad for three seasons. According to KenPom.com, the Tigers rank 331st out of 351 NCAA Division I teams in terms of experience.

PHILLIPS NEARLY WILLS MIZZOU TO VICTORY OVER NO. 11 KENTUCKY
- Mizzou sophomore guard Terrence Phillips (Orange County, Calif.) sank four three-pointers for the second-straight game and set a career-high with 22 points in Mizzou's game vs. No. 11 Kentucky (Feb. 21). Phillips' scoring performance was boosted by his efficiency at the free throw line, going 8-for-8 on foul shots.Â
- Phillips' 8-of-8 free throw effort was the second time in his career he shot perfectly from the line when taking five or more attempts (6-of-6, vs. Xavier, Nov. 17).

BARNETT AND PURYEAR IN GOOD COMPANY

WALTON STOCK ON THE RISE AGAIN
- Sophomore guard K.J. Walton (Indianapolis, Ind.) has enjoyed one of the most impressive stretches of his career. Walton has reached double figures in scoring in five of the last eight games, averaging 10.4 points per game in that time span.

Walton recorded two steals for the fourth-straight game, while holding Monk to 11 points.
- Walton posted a 12-point, five-rebound game vs. Alabama (Feb. 15), leading the Tigers in scoring for the fourth time this season. He also posted a season-high three assists, one shy of his career-best.
- While Walton did not reach the 10-point barrier vs. Vanderbilt (Feb. 11), he did help push the Tigers to victory with a strong outing on the glass, as his nine rebounds were the second-best total of his career. The Tiger hauled in a career-high 13 boards vs. Auburn (Jan. 10) earlier this season.
- Walton's minutes have steadily increased in SEC action this season after averaging 14.6 minutes per game in nonconference play. During Mizzou's SEC schedule, Walton has played 25.4 minutes per game.
