Mizzou Men's Basketball (7-2) continues at home with Green Bay (3-4) on Saturday, Dec. 9, for the third-ever matchup between the two programs. The Tigers continue their December homestand with tipoff scheduled for 8 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.

- Head coach Cuonzo Martin has Mizzou out to its best start to a season (7-2) since the Black & Gold's 2013-14 campaign when the Tigers began the season 10-0.
- Mizzou defeated Miami (Ohio) by a score of 70-51 on Tuesday, Dec. 5, thanks in part to the seventh 20-point game of junior forward Kevin Puryear's career.
- Graduate senior guard Kassius Robertson has made multiple three-pointers in five consecutive games. His 3-of-7 performance from deep against Miami (Ohio) was his fifth game of 3+ three-pointers in nine games.
- Speaking of threes - senior Jordan Barnett matched his career-high with five three-pointers vs. Miami (Ohio). Barnett sank 5-of-7 from beyond the arc en route to 15 points.
- Mizzou picked up its first road win of the season with a 62-59 victory at UCF (Nov. 30). Robertson (5-7 3PT) led the way with 19 points.
- Martin and Green Bay's second-year head coach Linc Darner were Purdue teammates during Martin's freshman, sophomore and junior seasons playing for Gene Keady. The Boilermakers posted a 65-30 record during that three-year stretch.
- The Tigers have improved immensely as a blocking team, more than doubling last season's blocks per game average (2.1) with their current 5.0-blocks-per-game average.
- Mizzou ranks second in the SEC and 19th nationally in rebounding margin per game (+9.3).

- The Tigers outrebounded the Redhawks, 38-32, the eighth time this season Mizzou has outrebounded its opponent.
- Junior forward Kevin Puryear led the team in scoring for the third time this season, pouring in 20 points (6-of-8 FG, 2-of-3 3 PT, 6-of-6 FT), the first time this season and seventh time in his career he has reached 20 points.
- Senior forward Jordan Barnett scored 15 points (5-of-11 FG, 5-of-9 3 PT) in the game, his fourth consecutive game and sixth time this season he has scored in double-digits.

- The Tigers are out to 7-2 start -- the best start to a season for Mizzou since the 2013-14 campaign when the Black & Gold started 10-0 (wins were later vacated).
