HOUSTON, Texas - Mizzou Football took a break from its bowl practice and preparation to give back to the Houston community Sunday morning (Dec. 24). In the spirit of the Holiday season, Mizzou's entire team went to the Depelchin Children's Museum to take part in a scavenger hunt with children from the area who are battling a variety of medical conditions. It was a great morning as each child was paired with about six Mizzou players and sent on a 45-minute scavenger hunt with the families, a hunt that took the players around to a variety of fun and exciting educational exhibits.

Smiles were all around as it was a great experience for all involved. It was a great way to kick off the morning as the Tigers got to spend time with children and their families.

Mizzou will practice again this afternoon at Rice University. Mizzou will play Texas in the Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl Wednesday (Dec. 27) at NRG Stadium in Houston. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. on ESPN.
